Clerigos tower, mid-18th century. The church was built for the Brotherhood of Clerigos by Nicolau Nasoni, an Italian architect.
In 1701, 3 institutions united and gave rise to the Brotherhood of Clerics, approved by Pope Clement XI in 1710.
